Stephen Kay advised Catalyst Capital on the acquisition of Apex 123 in 2011 for approximately £16m and assisted on the asset management strategy throughout the hold period. The impressive Grade B+ building was multi-let to tenants including Scottish Enterprise, URS, Arcadis and Stewart Milne Group and Catalyst Capital carried out an extensive refurbishment programme. In 2018, CuthbertWhite were asked to market the property which resulted in a successful sale at circa £28m, which showed a net initial yield of 7.06%. Subsequently, we have been retained as joint letting agents on behalf of Patrizia.
